3. Do not turn off the engine immediately after parking

4. Keep it clean
The turbocharger runs very fast, and the shaft seal has very high requirements on oil and air quality. The unclean air contains too much dust, which is easy to cause premature wear of the high-speed turbocharger. The air contains a lot of impurities. Once these dust particles enter the supercharger impeller running at a high speed, the dust particles will hit the supercharger impeller, resulting in unstable turbine operation and wear of shaft sleeves and seals. Therefore, it is necessary to clean the air filter on time to prevent impurities such as dust from entering the high-speed rotating compressor impeller, resulting in unstable rotation speed or increased wear of shaft sleeves and seals. It should be noted that when disassembling the supercharger, each pipe joint must be blocked with a clean cloth to prevent debris from falling into the supercharger and damaging the rotor.
5. It is not advisable to hit the accelerator pedal when starting
After the engine is started, especially in winter, it should be allowed to idle for a period of time to allow the lubricating oil to fully lubricate the bearings before the supercharger rotor runs at high speed. Therefore, after starting the vehicle, do not step on the accelerator pedal abruptly. It should run at idle speed for 3 to 5 minutes, so that the oil pump has sufficient time to deliver the oil to various parts of the turbocharger.
